From the dress code to admit card essentials, here’s everything you need to know to ensure a hassle-free exam experience.


Dress Code Guidelines for JEE Main 2025

To maintain a fair and secure testing environment, the NTA has issued a dress code for all candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2025. Make sure to adhere to these rules to avoid any issues on the exam day:

1. Avoid Full-Sleeve Clothing: Candidates should wear half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts to ensure easy checking by invigilators.


2. No Heavy Accessories: Avoid wearing items like watches, bracelets, or jewelry.


3. Simple Footwear Only: Candidates are advised to wear slippers or sandals. Shoes are not permitted.


4. Light and Comfortable Fabrics: Opt for lightweight clothing without excessive pockets to avoid any inconvenience during security checks.


Admit Card Guidelines for JEE Main 2025

The National Testing Agency, NTA has released JEE Mains Admit Card 2025 for Session 1. Candidates who have registered for the Joint Entrance Examination can download the hall ticket through the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The admit card has been released for three exam days- January 22, 23 and 24, 2025.

NTA has released the exam city slip for all exam dates and it is available on the official website.

The Session 1 examination will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 for Paper I and on January 30, 2025 for Paper 2.The Agency will conduct JEE Mains exam at different centres located in various cities throughout the country and 15 cities outside India.

The JEE Main 2025 examination will be held in two shifts for Paper I- first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. For Paper 2, the exam will be held in single shift- 3 pm to 6.30 pm.

The JEE Main 2025 examination will be held in 13 languages. The exam comprises of two papers - Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning). The registration process started on October 28 and concluded on November 22, 2024.

Download Admit Card: Click on the “Download Admit Card” link and save the PDF for future reference.

Print a Hard Copy: Carry a clear printout of the admit card to the exam center.
